Hyperbridge Suspends Cross-Chain Operations After DOT Attack
Blockchain interoperability protocol Hyperbridge said its team is taking emergency measures to mitigate an attack involving DOT tokens. The team has paused all cross-chain operations through the front end and advised partners to suspend external trading, issue warnings, and remain highly vigilant where appropriate.
Polkadot said the vulnerability only affects DOT bridged to Ethereum via Hyperbridge. It does not affect DOT within the Polkadot ecosystem or other bridged versions of DOT. Polkadot, its parachains, and native DOT remain secure and unaffected.
