Polygon's mainnet will undergo the Giugliano upgrade on April 8.

Polygon's Giugliano Hard Fork Set for April 8

Polygon is about to undergo a network upgrade. According to the Polygon Foundation, the Giugliano hard fork is scheduled for block height 85,268,500 on the mainnet—expected around 22:00 Beijing time on April 8th.

The upgrade brings several improvements. Producers will be able to announce blocks earlier, enabling faster finality. Fee parameters will be added directly to block headers. And new RPC interfaces will be introduced to support fee data.

Node operators are reminded to upgrade Bor to v2.7.0 or Erigon to v3.5.0 to stay in sync.
