Hong Kong and China Sign MOU on AI, Data Flows, and Blockchain
Hong Kong's Secretary for Innovation, Technology and Industry, Sun Dong, and the Deputy Director of China's Cyberspace Administration, Wang Jingtao, have signed a Memorandum of Cooperation. The MOU covers key areas including artificial intelligence, cross-border data flows, and blockchain.

The goal is to implement the national 15th Five-Year Plan, support Hong Kong's development as an international innovation and technology hub, promote a new real economy driven by technology and innovation, and help Hong Kong better integrate into and serve the country's overall development. The two sides will strengthen cooperation to foster new productive forces, deepen cybersecurity collaboration, and enhance international exchange and outreach.
