Hyperbridge Gateway Contract Exploited, Attacker Mints 1B Tokens
The Hyperbridge gateway contract has been exploited, according to CertiK Alert. The attacker used forged messages to hijack admin privileges on Ethereum's Polkadot token contract. They then minted and sold 1 billion tokens, pocketing about $237,000.
