Genius Adds Refund Feature to Airdrop, Users Can Burn Tokens for Fee Rebate

Genius, a Perp DEX trading terminal backed by YZi Labs, has added a "refund" feature to its airdrop program based on community feedback. Users will have 48 hours after the Token Generation Event (TGE) to burn their entire GENIUS airdrop allocation in exchange for a refund of net fees paid to the platform.

The refund is based on net fees, not gross fees. The platform has already distributed over $7 million in rebates to its trading community and paid more than $1.3 million in referral rewards—both have been deducted from the refundable amount. The refund only covers fees collected by Genius itself; fees charged by third-party protocols like PancakeSwap are excluded. Whether to hold GENIUS or apply for a refund is entirely up to each user. The platform also warned it would immediately address any false claims about "not getting a full refund."
