EdgeX Airdrop Exposed: Nearly Half Allocated to Partners, Only 9.5% in Circulation
EdgeX Airdrop Under Scrutiny: Half of $195M Allocation Went to Partners
EdgeX's airdrop is facing some tough questions. On paper, the project said it was giving away about $195 million to users. But after on-chain analysts raised concerns, the team admitted that 14% of the total supply—worth roughly $94.6 million at current prices—actually went to partners and liquidity providers. That's nearly half of the total airdrop value.

Right now, about 69.5% of the total supply sits in wallets that received funds directly from the initial developer wallet. Some of that could belong to market makers and may end up moving to exchanges. Another 7% of the supply is still sitting in airdrop wallets, unclaimed. That puts the current actual circulating supply at just around 9.5%.
