Iran has allowed a total of 20 oil tankers to pass through the Strait of Hormuz.
Trump: Iran Let Pakistani Oil Tankers Through Strait of Hormuz
President Trump says Iran has allowed more tankers through the Strait of Hormuz. Last week, it was 10 vessels flying Pakistani flags. Now, he said, the number is up to 20.
"These tankers have set sail, they're going right through the middle of the Strait," Trump told the Financial Times. Iranian Parliament Speaker Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf signed off on the move.

But Ghalibaf pushed back on talks with the US. In a social media post on March 23rd, he denied that any negotiations were happening. His take? Spreading "fake news" is a way to manipulate financial and oil markets—a bid to help the US and Israel escape their "quagmire."
