Leverage got squeezed. Coinglass data shows $311 million in total liquidations over the past day, with longs taking the bigger hit at $200 million versus $111 million for shorts.
Bitcoin saw $52.06 million in long liquidations and $40.99 million in shorts. Ethereum wasn't far behind: $48.63 million in longs, $32.68 million in shorts. Over 103,000 traders were caught in the wave. The biggest single flush? A $3.68 million liquidation on a XYZ:GOLD-USD pair.
