China to Issue $2.1B in Yuan Sovereign Bonds in Hong Kong

China's Ministry of Finance will issue the second batch of its 2026 yuan-denominated sovereign bonds in Hong Kong on April 22nd. The total issuance size is 15.5 billion yuan, or roughly $2.1 billion.

Detailed issuance arrangements will be released through the Hong Kong Monetary Authority's Central Moneymarkets Unit (CMU), the city's central clearing system for debt instruments.
