HypurrFi Urges Users to Stop Using Service Amid Domain Hijacking

HypurrFi Domain Compromised, Users Warned to Stay Away

DeFi lending protocol HypurrFi just issued a security warning. Its website domain has been compromised, and the team is investigating a potential domain hijacking.

"Do not use the hypurr.fi domain," the project said explicitly. Users are advised to avoid interacting with the platform until further notice. The team stressed that user funds are safe for now, and its official social media accounts remain under control.

HypurrFi runs on HyperEVM with about $30 million in total value locked (TVL). Domain hijacking is a common attack vector in crypto. Attackers typically take control of the front end to inject malicious code or wallet drainers. Even if the underlying smart contracts are secure, users can still face asset risks.
