Bitwise Files Second Amendment for Spot Hyperliquid ETF, Sets Fee at 0.67%
Bitwise has filed its second amended application for a spot Hyperliquid ETF with the SEC. The filing introduces the ticker BHYP and sets the management fee at 0.67%. Eric Balchunas noted that such updates typically signal an upcoming launch.
Bitwise, Grayscale, and 21Shares are all competing to be first with a spot Hyperliquid ETF. In a December 2026 filing, Bitwise said the fund would seek to generate additional yield through HYPE staking. According to CoinGecko, the price of HYPE is up 65% since the start of 2026 and currently sits at about $41.96.
