Gold has dropped to $4,758 per ounce with lower volatility, while crude oil is seeing small gains.

Gold and Silver Dip as WTI Crude Inches Higher

Gold edged down to $4,758.37 per ounce, a 0.15% drop on the day. Silver fell to $75.165, down 0.10%, according to Gate data.

Bitcoin volatility (BVIX) came in at 44.36, down 1.77%. Ethereum volatility (EVIX) was at 65.08, down 0.58%.

On the forex front, USD/CNH rose 0.05% to 6.83099. USD/JPY added 0.13%, trading at 159.213.

European stocks were mostly lower. The Euro Stoxx 50 slipped 0.22% to 5,912.79. The FTSE 100 fell 0.12% to 10,590.35. Germany's DAX 40 dropped 0.14% to 23,882.17.

Oil edged up. WTI crude rose 0.44% to $98.72 per barrel. Brent crude added 0.21% to $99.31.
