China's central bank added 160,000 ounces of gold in March compared to the previous month.

China's Central Bank Adds Gold for 17th Straight Month

China's central bank just kept its gold-buying streak alive. Gold reserves rose to 74.38 million ounces (about 2,313.48 metric tons) at the end of March, up 160,000 ounces (roughly 4.98 tons) from February's 74.22 million ounces (about 2,308.5 tons).

That marks the 17th consecutive month of purchases.
