Binance RWA Perpetuals Surge, Silver Volume Peaks at 20.8% of COMEX
Binance RWA perpetual contracts are gaining serious traction. Over the past 90 days, their average trading volume relative to traditional futures jumped from 0.2% to 4.9%, according to Binance Research. At its peak, silver volume hit 20.8% of COMEX trading. Gold peaked at 8.3%.

Here's the breakdown. Precious metals: gold grew from 0.4% of COMEX volume in January to 3.6% in April, peaking at 8.3%. Silver went from 1% to a 13.6% daily average, with a peak above 20%. Stocks: Circle (CRCL) captured 12.1% of NYSE daily volume, MicroStrategy (MSTR) 2.7%, and Tesla (TSLA) 0.5%. Energy: WTI crude futures hit 2.3%, Brent crude 1%.
Binance Research noted that gold was at a similar level in January—and two months later, it's grown 10x. The energy market is one to watch. The firm pointed to Binance's 24/7 operation, cross-asset margin, and support for both on-chain and traditional market trading as key drivers. If the trend holds, the distribution of global pricing power across venues could shift meaningfully.
