SpaceX IPO to Feature Massive Retail Allocation, Roadshow Set for June
SpaceX is moving closer to its highly anticipated IPO. According to sources, the company plans to release its prospectus in late May and kick off its investor roadshow the week of June 8th. A day before the roadshow, SpaceX will hold a virtual meeting with 125 financial analysts from the entire underwriting syndicate.

The retail allocation for the IPO is expected to be "very large," sources said. The final structure will be nailed down closer to the actual deal. SpaceX plans to invite 1,500 retail investors to a big event on June 11th. One lead underwriter told banks the IPO will generate unprecedented retail demand and allocation. The offering will target retail investors in the UK, EU, Australia, Canada, Japan, and South Korea. "Retail investors will be a key component of this offering, with a larger share than in any IPO in history," said SpaceX CFO Johnsen.
