Alibaba Cloud is building hardware for the AI agent crowd. Sources say the company's Wuying team is working on two devices: the JVS Book laptop and the JVS Box mini PC. Both are built around an OpenClaw-like architecture—"shrimp farming" (yangxia) in local parlance—and aim to deliver a seamless AI agent experience. The JVS Book is for mobile productivity, deeply integrating the JVS Claw platform. The JVS Box is a desktop-grade agent workstation. The move marks a shift from software platform to hardware, as Alibaba Cloud tries to own the full AI agent stack.
