Alibaba Cloud Hikes AI Computing Prices Up to 34% as Token Demand Explodes

Alibaba Cloud just raised the cost of AI. In an official announcement, the company cited a global AI demand surge and supply chain inflation, pushing prices up as much as 34%. T-Head's Zhenwu 810E compute cards will cost 5% to 34% more, and the CPFS file storage (AI edition) is jumping 30%.

But it's not just hardware costs. Insiders say the real driver is a "soaring surge in token calls."
