Nvidia's AI Agent Play Sparks Crypto Rally: TAO, NEAR, ICP Jump as Market Eyes NemoClaw
AI crypto is waking up. On news that Nvidia is gearing up to launch a new open-source AI agent platform, tokens tied to the narrative started ripping higher. The platform—expected to drop just before Nvidia's big developer conference—is seen as a major expansion of its AI software ecosystem.
Bittensor's TAO led the charge, with NEAR Protocol and Internet Computer (ICP) also posting solid gains. The AI token sector as a whole climbed about 4.8%, pushing total market cap to $14.2 billion. That's a clean beat vs. the broader market: the CoinDesk 20 Index managed just 2.86% over the same stretch.

So what's the platform? Codenamed NemoClaw, it's modeled after OpenClaw, an automated AI agent framework. Think enterprise-grade agents that handle data analysis, business workflows, and internal coordination—all running inside a company's own infrastructure. Security and privacy tools are baked in.
Nvidia is already talking to the usual suspects: Salesforce, Cisco, Google, Adobe, CrowdStrike. Expect more chatter at next week's GTC conference (starts March 17).
For the market, the takeaway is simple: as AI agents move closer to real-world deployment, blockchain projects riding that wave could stay in focus.
