Market Bleeds as BTC Dips Below $66K, ETH Breaks $2K—SocialFi and Memes Hold the Line
It's a sea of red out there. SoSoValue data shows most of the crypto market in the red, with Bitcoin sliding 1.63% and briefly slipping under $66,000. Ethereum wasn't spared either—down 1.15%, falling below the $2,000 mark.
But not every sector got the memo. SocialFi stayed green, up 0.53%, led by Chiliz with a 6.30% gain. The meme sector also saw some life, with Siren jumping 10.80% against the trend.
Elsewhere, it was mostly pain: Layer2 dropped 1.85% (Mantle -3.61%), PayFi fell 1.17% (though TWT managed +1.91%), and CeFi slipped 0.87% (ASTER +0.15%). Layer1 was down 0.67% (DOT briefly rallied 1.66%), and DeFi dipped 0.60% (MORPHO held up with +3.12%).
So yeah, mostly red—but a few spots of green for those squinting hard enough.
