Hyperliquid Sees $385M in Oil Contracts in 24 Hours—Gold and Silver Follow Close Behind
Commodities are having a moment on Hyperliquid. According to HyperInsight, crude oil contracts just logged over $385 million in trading volume over the last day, making them the third most active asset on the platform—behind only BTC and ETH. Open interest is sitting at $169 million.
Gold is also seeing action. The PAXG and GOLD contracts together pulled in $74 million in volume, with combined open interest hitting $257.7 million. Silver isn't far behind: the SILVER contract traded $204.7 million, with $127 million in open interest.
Looks like traders are hedging or speculating—either way, traditional assets are finding a home on-chain.
