Fairshake, a political action committee focused on crypto, has won its first victory in the 2026 US

Crypto PAC Fairshake Scores Big in 2026 Primaries, Targets Anti-Crypto Incumbent

The crypto industry's biggest political action committee, Fairshake, is celebrating some early wins. According to CoinDesk, the first round of primaries for the 2026 U.S. midterms just went down on Tuesday, and several of the pro-crypto candidates they backed came out on top.

Take Texas, for example. In the 8th Congressional District, Jessica Steinmann—a Republican with Trump's endorsement—absolutely crushed it, snagging nearly 70% of the vote. And it wasn't just her. Over in Arkansas, House Financial Services Committee Chairman French Hill had a pretty comfortable night too. With over $400,000 in ad support from Fairshake, he sailed to victory with a whopping 77%.

But Fairshake wasn't just playing offense; they were also looking to take out one of crypto's biggest critics. Their target? Texas Democrat Al Green. They poured resources into the newly redrawn 18th District, hoping to unseat him. And it looks like the strategy might be working—at least for now. Green ended up trailing his pro-blockchain opponent, Christian Menefee, in the primary vote. Thing is, neither of them hit the 50% mark, so this fight isn't over yet.
