Trump says negotiations to end the conflict are underway, but strikes continue in the region

Iran Strikes Israel, U.S. Bases as Trump Talks Peace—Gas Facilities Hit in Isfahan

Fighting rages on while Trump says peace talks are underway. Iran launched overnight missile and drone attacks on Israeli cities—Eilat, Dimona, Tel Aviv—and U.S. military installations across the Middle East. Saudi Arabia intercepted a drone in its east; Kuwait reported power outages after the strikes. Air raid sirens sounded in Bahrain, too.

On the other side, U.S. and Israeli strikes hit a gas pressure regulation plant and an administrative building in Isfahan, central Iran, according to Fars News. A pipeline feeding a power plant in Khorramshahr, in the southwest, was also damaged. The attacks followed Trump's decision to hold off on targeting Iranian energy infrastructure. The pause didn't stop the violence.
