Pump.fun Launches First On-Chain Agent Experiment: Tokenized Agents Let Users Set Buyback Ratios
On-chain agents are coming for everything, says Alon, co-founder of Pump.fun. The platform just dropped its first "experiment" in the space: Tokenized Agents, which enable automated on-chain buybacks and burns using revenue. Users get to set the buyback ratio themselves.

Alon calls it a v0—a starting point. The team is now gathering feedback to build features that work for both agent developers and end users. Future iterations are already in sight, with on-chain agents expected to anchor what Alon calls the "trillion-dollar agent economy."
Notably, the agents on Pump.fun aren't built by Pump.fun. Third parties develop them using tools like Claude Code or OpenClaw. The platform has no control over what they do—just the infrastructure they run on.
